MOPS 2020-2021

Meets two Fridays per month from 9:00am -11:00am

Begins August 2020; Specific dates TBD
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. – Psalm 139:14
This year, we want to tell you two things that will change your life if you believe them. First, you are fearfully and wonderfully made, as stated in Psalm 139:14. Second, because you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you have work to do; meaningful work that was built into your DNA before you were born. Work that you were made for. Sometimes, we believe that our motherhood is a constraint that limits what we can do in this life. We want to remind you that motherhood isn’t a constraint – it’s a catalyst. In fact, God appointed a woman named Deborah to be a judge over the nation of Israel. She was a leader, warrior and prophetess who ultimately helped an entire nation rediscover its identity and destiny as the people of God. And she declared that she accomplished it because she AROSE AS A MOTHER.

What is MOPS? MOPS stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers”, and is for moms with one or more children ages pregnancy to kindergarten. This journey of motherhood is best traveled with others, which is why here at MOPS, we want to do just that. Our goal is to provide you with a group of supportive women as you navigate the world of motherhood, faith, and life together.

We believe that it’s just as important for moms to grow as it is to take care of our little ones. While your children play and learn in the care and safety of our on-site MOPS KIDS program, at the Friday meetings, MOPS moms meet to socialize, hear from speakers, engage in creative activities and small group discussion, and share in a kid-uninterrupted breakfast and coffee break. Our hope is that you walk away refreshed, inspired, connected, and ready to brave the day. While we do have room for all moms, our provided childcare is limited to specific numbers to be sure that each child receives the individual love and attention that they deserve. Childcare spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis, based on RSVP by registering.

MOPS is part of an international movement to locally connect moms, no matter their personal or faith background who share this common bond of raising little ones.

Registration is $100 for the entire 2020-2021 MOPS year.

Your membership includes:

  • 18 Friday morning gatherings from 9:00-11:00 am with childcare and breakfast
  • MOPS International Magazine mailed to you
  • Weekly emails from MOPS to fill you with inspiration, and much more!
We want all moms to be able to take part in MOPS. If you are in financial need, please don’t hesitate to contact one of our MOPS Coordinators to discuss payment plans or scholarships.
