Welcome to the Christian Book Club. The focus of this group is to read Christian writing through the ages and to broaden our perspective on how to live the Christian life. The reading for each week should only take 1-2 hours. The group will run through May with a Christmas break. This is NOT intended to be an intensive study of each book. The purpose of the group is to share ideas from a variety of perspectives and experiences. We would love to have your unique insights!

Books for the year, in order are:

  • The Practice of the Presence of God with Spiritual Maxims by Brother Lawrence
  • In His Steps by Charles Sheldon
  • The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer
  • Disappointment with God by Philip Yancy
  • Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller

Participants need to purchase their own books which are readily available online (Amazon, EBay, Christian Book Distributors). Any edition is acceptable.

For more information or if you have questions please email Lydian Davis.

This is a comprehensive study of the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit  in the life of the believer. We will identify the Holy Spirit’s ministries of baptism, regeneration, indwelling, filling, interceding, sealing and sanctifying, as well as the many gifts the Spirit bestows upon believers.

Don’t be unaware of what God is doing in and  through your life by His Spirit!
