Daily Devotional 3-18-20

Hey everybody, this is pastor Bill Meiter. So the other day I was walking my dog at the dog park, and as usual, I was praying a prayer that morning and asking God to bless my day. And it dawned on me with everything that’s happening in the world with the Coronavirus, what I really should be asking God is to give me wisdom to understand what God is up to.
You see, the temptation for those of us who are Christians is we want to put God on our schedule and ask him to do things according to our timing and do things our way. When what should really concern us is God, what are you up to, and what are you doing?
In Acts 16, the apostle Paul was on his way to Asia, and the Holy Spirit prevented him from entering. The apostle Paul learned very quickly that he needed to get on God’s schedule and not the other way around.
I want to challenge you this week to hold your plans loosely and ask God to give you wisdom so that you can know what he is up to. I hope you have a great day. God bless. We miss you. We love you. We hope to see you soon.
