Daily Devotional 5-15-20

Well, hey everybody, this is Pastor Bill and welcome to today’s devotion. Excuse me. Hey, we’re doing devotions. Sorry about that. Can we, can we start over?

Well, hey everybody. Welcome to today’s devotion. Well, in God’s word it says… uh. Can we start over?

Well, hey everybody, welcome to today’s devotion. Well, in God’s word it says… You guys. Hey, how many times do I have to tell you we’re filming devotions here.

Well, Hey everybody. Today’s devotion is all about being patient and you know, showing patients towards people is one of the most difficult things to do in this world. Proverbs 16:32 says this, “Better a patient person than a warrior, one was self-control than one who takes a city” (NIV).

You know, during this quarantine time, we’re indoors oftentimes spending time with people that we normally don’t spend that much time with. And I hope that your patience hasn’t worn too thin.

The Bible says the fruit of the spirit is patience. And the challenge this week is very simple. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with patients towards people. No matter how many times they mess up, no matter what they do. Ask God, “Make me a patient person towards them just as you have been patient towards me oh Lord.”

We hope you’re doing well. Take care. Until next time, keep your eyes on Him.
