HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY
Our mission for the High School Ministry at ACC is to connect our students with God through Jesus’ discipleship model. Through discipleship, the students are challenged to study the Word and grow in their personal relationship with Christ with the end goal of using their knowledge to disciple others and positively influence their community.

Our focus in the High School Ministry is on discipling students by teaching them important elements of their faith; how to approach difficult life situations; and how to live in today’s culture as a Christ follower. To do so, we encourage student participation through group discussions and small groups.
HSM WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
6:30PM – 8:00PM
Our vision for the High School Ministry on Wednesday nights is to get our students in the Word and talking about life, faith, and meaning in the context of God’s plan.
MEET EMILY
My name is Emily Thompson and I’ve been in ministry for 9 years, with the last 5 being at ACC. I’ve done everything from Children’s to Young Adults and I’m super excited to be able to put my focus solely on High School! I’ve been married for 7 years to Tj and we have two children, Natalie (2 years old) and Bryce (infant). We also have 3 dogs, so there is never a dull moment in our house! I love working out and being active. Swimming is one of my favorite summer activities and when it cools down I enjoy getting to play sports outside. I love watching football and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, which is my favorite team. Our favorite vacation is going to the beach or to Disneyland. Really I love anything Disney!
