Taking the Next Step
Baptisms
We believe that all of Christ’s followers should be baptized by immersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20). The Greek word for “baptism” (baptizō) means to plunge, dip, or immerse something in water. Baptism is performed by immersion as a symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ (Romans 6:3-5).
Membership
There will be an informational class on Sunday, September 17 about ACC’s history, beliefs, and vision. The class will be from 4-5:30pm in Room G5. At the end of the class, if you are interested in becoming a member of the church, there will be a form you can fill out to begin the next-steps of membership.
