What We Believe

We are a non-denominational Protestant church, seeking to show love and grace to all people at all times, by staying true to the call for all people to repent, trust and obey the Lord, Jesus Christ.

We are a community of believers united around our common belief that people are saved by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in Christ Alone (Acts 4:12).

We strongly believe in the absolute authority and sufficiency of God’s word, and that the best way to grow the church and reach the world is to faithfully preach the Word of God both in and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2).

God

There is One God eternally existent in Three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Scriptures: Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19, Luke 1:35, 1 John 5:7, 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God! He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Though He was tempted in every way we are, He still lived a sinless life. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and is now at the right hand of God the Father.

Our Need for Salvation

We believe that, in Adam’s sin of disobedience to the revealed will and word of God, he incurred the penalty of spiritual and physical death, became subject to the wrath of God, became inherently corrupt, and utterly incapable of choosing or doing that which is acceptable to God, apart from Divine grace.

Becoming a Christian

The sole condition for receiving everlasting life is faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died a substitutionary death on the cross for humanity’s sin and rose bodily from the dead.

The Bible

The Bible is inspired by God and is the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

The Eternal Future

All people will be resurrected, the Christian to everlasting life in Heaven and eternal rewards; the non-Christian to everlasting death in Hell and eternal punishment.

The Church / Body of Christ

There is spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ; many churches but one Lord. The Body of Christ is made up of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ, and is to give praise to God, build up believers, and proclaim the Gospel.
